Yilun Fan is a science fiction writer, editor, researcher, and translator. Having lived in mainland China, Hong Kong, and the United States, she is particularly interested in cross-border cultural experiences and works hard to learn Spanish. She has published stories, essays, and translation works in various venues, including Science Fiction World, Locus, and Galaxy's Edge Chinese edition. Her fiction work has been translated into English and Italian, which won her Masters of the Future Award. She used to work for World Chinese Science Fiction Association and Eight Light Minutes Culture. This year, she is going to resume her Doctoral studies in speculative fiction at UCRiverside.
