Casey Lucas is an award-winning author, game developer, and graphic novel editor based in New Zealand. Working with Seven Seas Entertainment, she has localised and edited over 60 volumes of Japanese manga for the English-language market. She was the recipient of the 2020 Sir Julius Vogel Award for best short story, NZ's highest honour in science fiction and fantasy writing and has been an instructor at Clarion West Online. When not working on her shorts and her forthcoming novel, she works on the BAFTA-nominated and NZ Game Awards Grand Prize winning games Mini Metro and Mini Motorways and writes for Magic: the Gathering.
