Ingrid Kallick is an artist and writer specializing in fantasy and children’s illustration. Ingrid’s art has appeared in Cricket Magazine, Communication Arts, Spectrum, Scientific American, the cover of Science, in murals, stage sets, scientific visualization and print. Her illustration for the picture book Two Trolls Tales from Norway was featured at the Bologna Book Fair in 2017. Her covers for Cricket Magazine received the Magazine Merit Award from the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators in 2011 and 2015. She received a Bronze Award from the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles in 2015, and the Chesley Award for Magazine Cover in 2018. She works in acrylic, gouache and mixed media.
