What do writers of SFF have to consider when building a strong foundation for their story worlds? What questions should they ask themselves and the people they interview? To what extent must a world be built culturally, politically, religiously, geographically, linguistically, mythologically? And what drives authors to worldbuild extensively if the goal isn't to get the reader to notice the meticulousness and complexity?
